Get informed that, even if I work 66+ hours, I only get paid for 62 of them, (although boss DID say he would keep track and pay those hours when we had fewer cats, and thus fewer hours....we'll BOTH be keeping track) so, I'm not a happy camper right now. Now,don't get me wrong. Some volunteers and community service people are wonderful. In the case of community service they were sentenced to xx hours of service for whatever they might have done wrong. So, we had a group of volunteers come out from local college to fill in a few hours for college credits. Most of the time, when this happens, these kids will do a fairly decent job, usually walking dogs, some light cleaning, things like that. Let me take the most irritating first....a couple signed up to be foster parents to our kittens and cats. However, they don't want to foster the tiny kittens, or even the ones almost ready to be made adoptable. Only the already adoptable ones.
